Another 10 minutes! Let’s Get Mike Home! August 5, 2010

 

I need your help again, I need you to take another 10 minutes of your life to help someone out.

Michael Stanzione is a Pompe patient in New Jersey. He is stuck in the hospital, where he has been for the past 3 years! His doctors have given him the green light to go home, but his insurance company won’t cover home health care.

Dr. Steven Jacoby, a pulmonologist who oversees Stanzione’s care from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, said he thinks Stanzione “would do fine at home.” “It’s the stupidity of insurance that’s keeping him in the hospital,” Jacoby said. –NorthJersey.com, July 26, 2010, by Barbara Williams.

Just ask Gordon to look into Mike’s situation, to help cut through the bureaucracy – to help him get home to his family!

 

The more times Gordan’s office hears about Mike’s situation the better, send the same email over and over again until you get a response. You may not think your email will make a difference, but it really can. The more we can focus his attention on Mike the more likely Gordan (or someone else) will step up and help out. Reaching out to our Representatives really does help, we have helped others using this method in the past.

 

I urge you to take 10 minutes and send an email – consider it your good deed for the day.
